This policy explains what personal information Timebomb Custom Printing collects when you use croydonprinting.com or order from us, why we collect it, and your rights.
Who we are
Timebomb Custom Printing, The Basement, 22 George Street, Croydon, CR0 1PA. We are responsible (the “data controller”) for your personal information. If you have any questions, contact us at timebombprints@hotmail.com or on 0208 686 7730.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number and what you bought.
- Payment details: these are handled by our payment providers (Stripe, WooPayments and PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
- Account details: if you create an account, your login details and order history.
- Messages and designs: anything you send us by email, phone or in person, including artwork for custom orders.
- Website usage: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and cookies (see below).
Why we use it
- To process, print, post and support your order (needed to fulfil our contract with you).
- To reply to your questions and quote requests.
- To meet our legal duties, for example keeping accounting records for HMRC.
- To keep the website secure and prevent fraud (our legitimate interests).
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it, using Google Analytics and Jetpack statistics.
We do not sell your personal information, and we only send you marketing emails if you have asked to receive them.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with companies that help us run the shop, and only as much as they need:
- Payment providers: Stripe, WooPayments (Automattic) and PayPal.
- Delivery companies, such as Royal Mail, to deliver your order.
- Our website host (HostGator) and website services: WooCommerce and Jetpack (Automattic), and the Wordfence and MalCare security tools.
- Google (Analytics, Site Kit and Google for WooCommerce), to measure website traffic and list our products on Google.
Some of these companies store data outside the UK, for example in the USA. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Essential cookies make the basket, checkout and your account work. Analytics cookies from Google and Jetpack help us understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the basket and checkout need essential cookies to work.
How long we keep it
We keep order and accounting records for 6 years, as required by HMRC. We keep account details until you ask us to close your account, and messages and custom artwork for up to 2 years after your last order.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for it to be transferred to you. To make a request, email timebombprints@hotmail.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
